RCMTC ROUND 3 COVERAGE
The RCMTC produced another great day of racing, with 6 total rounds of racing. The huge launch ramps off the start were really throwing in that extra excitement factor as some trucks were getting huge air and even dragging monster slap wheelies down the whole first stretch. The event opened up with Dan DeFalco driving Grave Digger winning the first race of the day. Digger moved onto the next round and stepped up to defeat Kyle DeFalco's Airforce Afterburner. It looked as Digger was onto having a much needed good weekend, until the same servo problem that bit the truck in Round #2 popped up again, and Grave Digger was done for the night. Dan bounced back to win 3 out of the 6 rounds in the Amsoil Shock Therapy, and with Brain Wood in taz not being in attendance, Shock Therapy was able to capitalize and gain some ground in the crawford performance points standings. Peter Spragg also went down a truck after a hard crash with Obsession caused a four link bar to snap, ending the day for the Obsession truck.  Kyle DeFalco fought radio problems all day in the CPE Maximum Desctruction, but was able to grab a round win and stay up in the brackets for most of the day. The newcomers really stepped up today as well. George Fabbiani in his second apperance with the long island based truck known as the Slayer took two final rounds. It was a rough start for slayer after launching crooked off the first launch ramp and slammed into a pole hard, but George settled in and was able to grab those two victories. Also settling in towards the end of the day was Chad Brown in the Purple Passion, later pulling off one of the big upsets of the day by straight up defeating the Maximum Destruction truck. When all the dust settled, it was Dan DeFalco grabbing his second win of the season in the CPE/SIR Amsoil Shock Therapy. Kyle DeFalco would follow through with second and third in the Airforce Afterburner and Maximum Destruction trucks. It was another awesome day of racing and here are some pictures to check out.
Wolverine driver Greg Noonan shows us some of that huge air off the first jump that the trucks were getting all day long.
