ROUND 4 COVERAGE

RACING
Racing on the aweesome S-course turned out to be some of the most competitive of the series. Both trucks need to be fast on the inside turn, fast on the outside turn and stay in the lane without knocking into the turning markers. The trucks were getting huge air off the first dirt roller every time and we had the closest finishes we've ever seen all year. The opening round proved tough after points leader Shock Therapy drew a DQ after missing the crush car ramp, the remaing trucks battle through to the finals. The round 1 final was one of two close finishes as Dan DeFalco finally shook the servo problems in Grave Digger would face Kyle DeFalco in the Airforce Afterburner. After an even race it came right down to the line where Afterburner nipped Digger at the line by less than a tire tread!!! That set the tone for the rest of the day. Rookies Abdul Rascoe and George Fabbiani continue to impress as they greatly increase their performances and did so in Round 4. George's Slayer truck was making fast consistent runs all day long and Abdul pulled off some great runs as well with Big Red. Rascoe was able to pull off an awesome last corner on the outside to upset the number two truck Maximum Destruction for an awesome win. The Can't stop Rockin/Wolverine team of Greg Noonan also provided us with pleny of highlight reel moements and Brian Wood was pulling off strong runs after missing round 3.
Dan DeFalco had the Shock Therapy truck working great all day and after settling in after the round 1 DQ was able to grab some final round wins en route to his third even win of the seaon out of the four events and thus grabbing the points championship. It was an awesome day of racing and now check out some pictures from today's event.
Brian Wood in Taz cranks it down to the inside of turn 1 while George Fabbiani gets big time out of shape in Slayer after hitting a turning marker
We hope you've enjoyed our coverage and pictures of Round #4 and we would like to thank all this year's competitors  and track owners for making it such an awesome first points season. We look to grow next year, come back bigger with a longer schedule, new venues and bigger and better tracks, and we hope to have an awesome season ending event at the world finals. It's going to be an awesome show so be there!!!!!!!!!
